Middle school is where students encounter challenging curriculum, excellent instruction, guidance and support services, and organizational structures. At UMS, we provide all of these things. Our curriculum is relevant, challenging, integrative, and exploratory. We also have multiple learning and teaching approaches that respond to students’ diversity. Our assessment and evaluation programs promote quality learning, and our organizational structures support meaningful relationships and learning. We also have school-wide efforts and policies that foster health, wellness and safety, and our multifaceted guidance and support services all help that happen.
